What every course includes
- A course for the term. Each enrollment is a specific course for a specific term, delivered through scheduled lessons. Term tuition pays for the course, including lesson planning, feedback and evaluations, not a count of individual lessons.
- A plan for each student. Instruction begins with a diagnostic conversation. The instructor sets goals and a plan suited to the student’s age, level and objectives, and adjusts it as the student progresses.
- Evaluation. Private instruction and exam preparation are ungraded unless the course plan says otherwise. Graded courses use the StevensED grading scale.
- Completion records. On written request, StevensED can issue a course completion record describing the course, dates, lessons delivered, content covered and evaluation.
- No diplomas or graduation credit. StevensED provides supplemental instruction. Any school or college decides for itself whether to accept StevensED coursework.
